Leadership Team
As the Founder and CEO of Vaerifi, Alex leads a team that provides CFO-level strategy, advanced financial reporting, and integrated bookkeeping to fast-growing firms. Alex is a key strategic partner, ensuring financial operations run with precision and discipline while helping guide critical business decisions with clarity and insight.
Prior to launching Vaerifi, Alex spent over 15 years in global finance roles at Bank of America, Credit Suisse, and private capital platforms across New York and Singapore. His background includes structuring complex debt solutions and advising management teams at companies ranging from early-stage ventures to publicly traded enterprises.
Alex earned his MBA from the University of Virginia’s Darden School of Business, holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting, and is a CFA charterholder.
He resides in Dallas, Texas, with his loving wife and beautiful daughter. He enjoys staying active, traveling, and exploring the great outdoors.

Kiran Kalani is an accomplished finance leader with over 15 years of experience in accounting, financial operations, and strategic project management. As Controller, Kiran brings a proven ability to strengthen financial infrastructure, optimize processes, and support organizational growth through accurate reporting and data-driven insights.
Kiran is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CGA) and a Project Management Professional (PMP), uniquely combining deep technical accounting expertise with disciplined project execution. Her background spans private equity–backed, SaaS, media, entertainment, and large multinational organizations, where she has led complex initiatives across accounting, systems implementations, audits, and cross-functional projects.
Throughout her career, Kiran has overseen full-cycle accounting, budgeting, forecasting, revenue recognition, cash flow management, and compliance under U.S. GAAP and IFRS.
